Come Dance The Winter BLues Away!

Our history…

Winter White (WW) is an annual dance event that was created by Ardena Gojani. The event originated in 2012 when Ardena organized a weekend workshop with Stephen White as a means of bringing together the West Coast Swing (WCS) community. In 2013, Ardena applied for a trial event, which was subsequently approved by the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) in 2014, making WW an official registry event. Winter White has gained a reputation for its cozy and welcoming atmosphere, characterised by amazing social dancing and delicious food. It offers a unique experience for participants who prefer a more intimate event setting. One notable aspect of WW is its emphasis on fostering a supportive and positive community, where participants can enjoy the social dancing without the stress of competitions. Indeed, Winter White goes beyond just providing a social dance experience for WCS enthusiasts. The event also offers a comprehensive range of classes, catering to different interests and skill levels. In addition to partnered classes, WW includes solo classes, which allow participants to work on their individual dance skills and techniques. Overall, Winter White provides a space for WCS enthusiasts to come together, learn from experienced instructors, and enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable dance experience.
